Disney/Halloween

Our trip to Disney last Saturday was great. We left early and were in the park by 10. There was suppossed to be rain, but the sky had cleared by the time we got there.

Here are some things I learned though...

1. Even though my girls are 6 a double stroller is a must. We brought just a single for Joshua, and the girls were EXHAUSTED by the end of the day. Before we would bring a double and the girls would take turns. We thought we would try a single this time, and won't again for awhile!

(Mikayla asleep during the fireworks...at least I brought a towel!)

2. The train is fun! We had never been on the train in Magic Kingdom. We had gone to Disney more times than we can count, but with girls the train wasn't a must-do! However, we get to the park, and Joshua wanted on the choo choo! So, we got on and a few min. later were in Frontierland. Fun!

(My favorite kiddos on the train!)

3. Joshua thought every princess was a doll. SO funny. The girls wanted pictures with the princesses. So, we waited in line, and as we approached Cinderella, Aurora, and Belle, Joshua exclaimed, "A doll, a doll, a doll!!!". Just like sissie's have at home! We were laughing so hard!!

(Joshua, Brianna and Aurora...err, doll)

4. Ice cream bribes are the best. When, the whining started because Brianna wanted to go on a ride, and Mikayla didn't, a promised ice cream later saved the day (if she had good behavior). Disney might be magical, but it doesn't eliminate whining.

(Here you can see a grumpy Mikayla face because she doesn't want to go on It's a Small World, and a very happy Brianna because we said yes to her request.)

5. My missing Anna will show up at any time, any where. I was watching the fireworks, and one looked like angel wings, and tears started streaming. All day I thought about how she would love to see how much my boy loves Tigger and Pooh (Gigger and Ooh), how the girls LOVE Sleeping Beauty...everything.

6. People are friendly all throughout the park, except when you have been in a spot to see the parade, and as soon as the parade begins everyone pushes in and shoves, and there are a lot of not very kind people. We don't usually stop for the parades, but did Saturday night, and I was so surprised people weren't respectful of others.

I just love going with my family to Disney. Can't wait to see all the holiday lights soon!

Halloween was great. Joshua loved going up to doors, and saying trick-or-treat (that only Nelson and I could understand), and hearing his sweet thank you when he got some candy. The girls loved running to houses with their brother. It was so sweet to see my 3 thoroughly enjoy a holiday together. Can't wait to see the 3 of them at Christmas this year!! It's crazy too, that the girls are at an age where every memory counts. That some of these memories they will remember forever. I have to make them good!

(My sweet cheerleaders and football player!)
